Welcome to our art studio where everyone speaks
the language of flowers
Here you can create your own talking bouquet, garden patch or window box to
share with kids from other parts of the world. Our special focus this spring is
on children from the Middle East.
Vist www.planetplant.org to learn about a special plant that grows in Saudi Arabia.
We have 10 flowers with their meanings in our flower dictionary. You can choose some of these to put
in your drawing or combine a few of them together into a new flower that has its own special meaning.
When you have finished your drawing, scan or photograph it and email it to
us@othersareus.org.
Be sure to include your first name, age, City and State/Country and a message you want
to send with your flowers.
Here is an example:
"I chose to fill my apartment building with roses for happiness
and chrysanthemums for cheerfulness because life is always
better if you can feel this way. Hyacinths mean I love sports
and play and magnolias show my love of nature."
